Hello, my name is Aaron Palaian, and I’m a photographer. I grew up in Fenton, Michigan, and I currently reside in the Village of Clarkston, but I’m willing to travel anywhere for work. I graduated with honors from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. For the past 25 years, I’ve lived and worked between the great states of Texas and Michigan and been blessed enough to have adventures in every state in the USA. I’ve collaborated with talented athletes and events worldwide, creating stunningly captivating and marketable imagery.

While I enjoy shooting portraiture, weddings, and other formal events, I consistently feel drawn back to the photojournalistic style of endurance sports. It combines artistry and athleticism, demanding compositional skill and a precise understanding of events and athletes. I navigate challenging landscapes while capturing the intensity of marathons, ultras, and triathlons. I love documenting the athletes’ stories of triumph and resilience through technical expertise and emotional connections.
